young artists, new voices, yerma, oh MY

a few highlights from a busy winter and spring!

an extraordinary Actors' Shakespeare Project residency diving into THE TEMPEST with incarcerated youth at a DYS facility in central MA

two of my (very) tiny plays were performed in the Boston chapter of the One Minute Play Festival

a residency at the Fayerweather Street School in Cambridge MA, where I directed THE COMEDY OF ERRORS with their (delightful) 7th and 8th graders

a living room reading of a draft of a new Lila Rose Kaplan (playwright crush alert!) play

a week in residence at Boston Playwrights' Theatre for NEW NOISES, the Massachusetts Young Playwrights' Project. I've been performing in this incredible collaboration for several years and I look forward to it every spring

and last but not least, I had two incredible opportunities (one through HowlRound and one through Huntington Theatre) to work with Huntington playwright/goddess-in-residence Melinda Lopez on her new translation/adaptation of Lorca's YERMA. It's been my joy to be part of the development of this work for a couple of years now and each time I visit it I fall deeper in love.
